Colouring Book Day: Were colouring books something you enjoyed as a child? Adult colouring is now a huge trend. Do you do colouring as an adult, or would you consider engaging in this activity?

Clean Your Floors Day: How often do you clean your floors? Do you have to deal with different types of flooring (carpeting in some rooms, hardwood, tiles, linoleum in others)? Do you use a regular vacuum cleaner or a robovac, or both? Have you ever gotten down on your hands and knees and actually scrubbed a floor – the whole floor, not just one stubborn stain?

Not often enough. We have carpets, so we vacuum, but not on any regular schedule. We just use a regular vacuum, and I've never had cause to scrub an entire floor.

One of the ways I've realized that I've become a boring adult was the time that I was thinking what I'd do if I won the lottery, and decided that one of my first purchases would be a quieter vacuum cleaner.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Day: Are you a fan of chocolate chip cookies? Are you a chocolate chip cookie traditionalist, or do you like variations -- with nuts, or different types of chocolate, etc.? Do you have a favourite brand, or do you buy them from a bakery? Do you make your own? Will you share your favourite recipe?

Yes, I love them! Variations are fine! Variations are kind of required at this point, with the dairy problem.

Mostly I make them myself. My usual recipe is just the one off the back of the Toll House semi-sweet chocolate chip packages, minus the walnuts because the SO doesn't like nuts in cookies. I need to see if I can make it work with margarine.

Blogger Day: This day was created to celebrate Blogger, one of the oldest blogging sites. Did you ever have a blog on Blogger? What about on any other blogging sites (aside from Dreamwidth/LiveJournal), e.g. WordPress? Have you ever hosted a blog on your own webspace?

I've never had my own blog anywhere but Dreamwidth and LiveJournal. I've contributed to three different WordPress blogs over the years, and I've come out of that experience hating WordPress.

Friendship Day: Do friendships change over time? Is friendship important to you? What is your definition of a good friend? Do you think you're a good friend?

You know, I just had to contemplate these questions a couple days ago. Okay, it was during a Pathfinder Society game, when a recurring NPC I think of as Mecha-Gamera was asking Ahiru to explain what friends are, but still.

Anyway, yes they do change, yes it is, someone who's there for you and has adventures with you, and I dunno, I think that's the sort of thing you can never quite tell for yourself and have to ask someone else.
