I saw an announcement from a furcon the other day that emphasized that masks were required, including for people in full-coverage fursuits. I admit I'm a bit lost to figure out how you enforce a mask requirement on someone whose head surface is not visible!

Yeah, most convention policies that require masking also require that costumes leave enough of the face visible to check whether the person is wearing a mask. At least a full-coverage fursuit probably provides some additional protection.
