World Whale Day: Have you ever been whale watching? Tell us about it.

I haven't. I might sometime though; allegedly there are spots along the Oregon coast where one can watch whales from the safety of land.

Lisa and I plan to go up to Churchill on the train after NASFiC, and one of the possible excursions is Beluga whale boat trips. We haven't decided if we'll do that, though.
