Well, I think I know what the anime blogosphere/Twittersphere is going to explode about shortly. If you want to know, just ask yourself, what is the worst possible way that Dororo could end the personal story of a character who is clearly a trans boy in the original?

Do you think folks will even notice, caught up as they seem to be in re-hashing 25-year-old arguments about Evangelion?

I'm inclined to run an episode of the old ADV dub this weekend at A-Kon as part of the Classic Anime Festival, just so people can make up their own minds as to the fuss about it. Maybe a couple of other dubs of the period as well. The question being, can I keep from stabbing my own eardrums with an icepick during Gunsmith Cats?
