Well, I can attest that the head of Westercon 74 Programming has visited the convention site and seen all of the function space we have (which is not a huge amount). However, I prefer to let area heads do their jobs. I'm already having to do too many areas' work due to not having found anyone who can do the tasks. The "mini-booklet" format in which we've done our PRs is a fallout of that, for example.
