Terrance Dicks, R.I.P.

Courtesy of this month's Ansible, Terrance Dicks has died. As noted, he was the script editor for Doctor Who for several years, but my strongest memory of him is his name on many, many novelizations that I read as a kid.

With the titles confusingly in the format "Doctor Who and…". I have a couple of those myself, notably The Loch Ness Monster, with the unforgettable line "you do not appreciate the power of organic crystallography!"

That sounds perfectly reasonable-- very few people do!
