Nov. 1st, 2020 07:48 pmThere were quite a few trick-or-treaters out walking the neighborhood last night, by the sound of it. In the morning the candy bowl was empty. So I'm glad that worked out.
The weather continues dry, sunny, and chilly at night, though we should get some rain this week. The trees are getting busy turning their remaining green leaves yellow and red and shedding them. Some people still have roses blooming.
Life putters on, but larger events keep finding ways to intrude. Yesterday I was in a Pathfinder Society game being run as part of a convention that's normally held in Sheffield, England. The GM and two of the players were in the UK, and so the game came to a momentary halt when the news dropped about the imminent second lockdown.

malkingrey had passed away unexpectedly last night. I didn't know her well, but I know several people who did. My thoughts are with them and her family.
