Phantom of the Idol: Meh. It's not bad, exactly, but there was a long scene in front of a wall covered in stickers and doodles and I was way more interested in seeing what was on the wall than what the characters were talking about.

Smile of the Arsnotoria: Fifteen minutes of a moeblob and her friends having tea, sure to put off anyone who doesn't like moeblob slice of life shows, followed by a couple minutes of an entirely different group of people engaging in indiscriminate slaughter, putting off anyone who was here for a moeblob slice of life show.

Prima Doll: If you did want a moeblob slice of life show, this might fit the bill. The steampunk androids and everything ought to make it interesting but somehow don't.

Extreme Hearts: Forget the sf and sports angles, this is a by-the-numbers idol show and everything else is incidental.

Call of the Night: Terrific art and some interesting things to say about being a night owl, but brought down hard by juvenile romance writing and the inability of the camera to stop glancing at the main female character's crotch.

Still not watching the isekai shows. Word is that they are particularly terrible this season. Like more-than-one-show-actively-endorsing-slavery terrible.

Meanwhile, Lycoris Recoil continues to surprise me by being possibly the best show of the season. The overall storyline is shaping up to be about deprogramming one of the child soldiers. Plus it has endorsed tabletop gaming as a wholesome hobby practiced by respectable adults, which is guaranteed to keep me watching.

Yurei Deco is likewise holding up. The characters are a very interesting bunch, and the writers have made it clear by now that they have a firm understanding of how any problem can be made worse by adding computers.
