I'm not sure if this is the sort of news you want to report, but if you didn't see it earlier, see http://www.westercon.org/2024/04/westercon-76-utah-opens-hotel-reservations/ for Westercon 76 finally getting their hotel room booking working. Better late than never, eh?

I did see that, but normal con business like the hotel block opening isn't usually something SMOF News carries.

In this case, I think it might be, given that the delay in getting it published was making people question whether the convention was going to happen at all.
