petrea_mitchellOn Sunday, I was at an online Pathfinder Society game where the GM asked us to say where we were as well as introducing our characters. I started with, "I'm near Portland, Oregon, where we're getting our first real snow of the season."
The next player started with, "I'm in Los Angeles, where we're getting our first real rain of the season."
By now Portland has actually gotten more snow than we see in an entire typical winter. Meanwhile, my colleagues in the northeastern US haven't seen any snow at all yet.
