World Hippo Day: How much do you know about hippos? Have you seen one outside a zoo?

Not much and no. I do know about being trampled by hippos being a bigger danger than being attacked by predators, and I have seen a hippo in a zoo move fast enough that I completely believe it.

And thanks to the inclusion of a breeding pair in a drug lord's menagerie, which escaped after he was arrested, there are now hippos in the Amazon. A shoo-in for "invasive species of the year".
