World Piano Day: have you ever taken piano lessons? What is your favourite piece of piano music or song?

I have, and sadly they didn't match up much with the kind of music I would have wanted to play at the time. Something more improvisational and focused on making use of chords would have been much better. Instead I had to learn classical pieces, and some of them were okay, but it wasn't until the piano lessons were over with that I was able to decide I actually liked music.

My favorite thing I learned to play was the Rondo alla Turca.
