Biographers' Day: Do you like reading biographies? What have been some of your favourites? If you're not a fan, why not? If you were going to write a biography of someone, who would that be?

I don't read them, I prefer reading about events with biographical details as necessary. I'm not sure why I'm not a fan, maybe I just haven't read the right one yet?

Seeing as I'm not a fan of the form, I probably shouldn't try to write anyone's biography.

I will say I thought the recent Terry Pratchett biography was just brilliantly done and well worth reading...if you like Terry Pratchett, of course.
