World Bicycle Day: Do you regularly ride a bike? If yes, is it mostly for fun, or do is it your main mode of tranportation? Does your town/city have good bike infrasctructure, e.g. dedicated, safe bike paths, etc.?

Hang on, didn't I just answer something like this for Bike Month? Portland has good bike infrastructure for the US, but it would probably give people from some European countries heart attacks to see it.

I got some good use out of the bike today. Most of the way to the place with the vegan donuts on Saturday (I took a bus up the steep hilly part, because I happened to get there when the bus was about to arrive and because I am a wimp with no sense of honor), back down the hill via Subway to get lunch and the FedEx/Kinko's to do some last-minute printing for this afternoon's Pathfinder Society game, and then later to the gaming store and back for the actual game session.

One of the players was wearing a T-shirt with an illustration of a bicycle and the words "THIS IS MY THERAPIST", but not because he had any idea that it was World Bicycle Day.
