Bargain Hunting Week: Do you make a point of trying to find the best deals when you need to buy something? What is one of the best bargains you've ever come across?

It depends on how expensive the item is and how suspicious I would be if I found a really good deal on one.

One of the best deals I recall getting was a fridge years ago, when we urgently needed to replace our broken on. We got a simple refurbished one for $200 which actually lasted a lot longer than its predecessor.
