Buy A Book Day: Do you buy books or are you pretty much a borrower -- be it from the library or friends and family? What was your most recent book purchase? Did you buy it for yourself, or as a gift for someone else?

Buy, and then donate to one of the local library-affiliated charities unless I absolutely want to keep it.

I think the most recent book I bought was Pathfinder Rage of the Elements. The game sourcebooks I always keep.

I bought a copy of Science News Yearbook 1970 in an estate sale last weekend, and have been reading it on my show. I also bought a linear algebra textbook at the same time, with some vague ideas of self-study.
