Redhead Appreciation Day: Why are redheads frequently made fun of or maligned (e.g. some cultures have believed that women who have red hair are witches, there's a "Kick A Ginger Day")? Do you like red hair? Do you know anyone with red hair?

I guess people will take any excuse to find someone to be mean to?

I think red hair is fine, I don't especially like or dislike it. I don't know for sure that I do know anyone with red hair, but I have no idea what most of the people I know on the Internet look like.
