Piano Month: September is Piano Month. Did you ever take piano lessons as a kid (or even as an adult)? If yes, do you still play? If not, do wish you had? Did you learn any other instrument?

Yes and I hated them. I was interested in a type of music at the time where jazz-style piano lessons focusing on learning chords and improvisation could have been relevant, but it was classical piano, and there was much drama over enforcing practice, and so the result is that even though I developed the necessary skills, I hated the whole process. It was only some time after the lessons were over that I started to really develop an appreciation for classical music.

I might be interested in playing again, but that would require time to actually practice and play. And a piano.

I've also learned beginner guitar and also haven't played that in ages.
