Dessert Day! Who doesn't love dessert? Is a dessert a regular part of your evening meal, or more of a special occasion sort of thing? Or do you mostly indulge in dessert when you eat out? Do you have a favourite dessert to make? Do you have a favourite dessert to order when eating out?

It's not a regular thing, but I do like to get dessert when eating out if possible. Though the times when it's possible are far fewer now that I have to avoid dairy.

I don't currently have a favorite thing to make. I really need to start seeing how some of my favorites work when substituting margarine for butter.

My favorite eating-out dessert used to be cheesecake. It's possible to get vegan cheesecake (with fermented cashew paste doing a remarkable imitation of cheese) around here, but it is expensive s definitely for special occasions only. I'm planning to get myself a mini pumpkin one to eat on Halloween since I can't eat the Halloween candy we're giving out.
