No, that's not a coronavirus joke, it actually snowed yesterday! In March! After a whole winter of no measurable snow, which is not unusual in the Portland area!
I had plans for an expedition across town to an indoor mini-golf place. I've been meaning to go visit it again ever since its renovation last year, and it seemed safe to go even with the great incipient hunkering down, as the mini-golf places have always made a point of sanitizing their clubs between uses and mini-golf is not generally an activity that involves standing close to other people. But when my neighborhood has an inch of snow on every unpaved surface, I can count on the other side of town having that plus ice.
So instead, we were responsible adults and stocked up on less-perishable groceries so we won't have to go out much in the immediate feature. Phooey.
