Vacation dreams

petrea_mitchellOnce or twice a year, I get to imagining what it would be like to go visit Disney World if we could afford to stay for long enough to really see the whole place (1 week plus) at the high-end resort hotels (currently starting from around $700/night in the off-season). My personal pick would be the Polynesian Village Resort, partly for the theming and partly for being conveniently located to all the monorails.
The more realistic version of the dream is staying for 5-6 days at the Pop Century, which is one of the value resorts and has a Skyliner station (the Skyliner being the new aerial tram connecting some parts of WDW).
Usually this travel daydream comes on in January. I suppose it's happening now because I'm stuck at home like it's the winter.
The SO wants to drive there again if we do go sometime.
...I guess I've never gotten around to writing about the time we drove from one corner of the contiguous US to the opposite one. I should do that.
