petrea_mitchellI went with the plan to put the candy and jack-o'-lantern at the end of the driveway.
We traditionally give out chocolate eyeballs. Kids love them and they're a great opportunity for corny puns like "keeping an eye out for you".
I have no idea if we'll get any takers. In recent years, most of the neighborhood kids have been going to mass Halloween parties rather than schlepping door to door. I don't know if they'll just be kept home or what.
