She seems to be familiar with game concepts from when she was a teenager. All the fish-out-of-water stuff so far involves things specific to online games.
The twist I would like to see, which is absolutely not going to happen :
the mom reminisces about how she played D&D a lot when she was younger, & one of the campaigns was written up by one of the other players into a series of novels which became popular enough they were adapted for anime.
