A few upcoming conventions

The last couple months of online conventions have revealed what each convention thinks is essential. SF cons have found ways to preserve the interactions that fans go to them for. Gaming cons have found ways to keep people playing games. Cons whose big selling point is physical proximity to celebrities have chosen to cancel this year's events.
Nobody has figured out the formula for the ideal online dealers' room yet, but I figure that Virtually Expo, the replacement for the UK Games Expo, is the con to watch for that. It's the first con of the season organized primarily for the benefit of game industry (Origins Online should have been but it was cancelled). It's running strictly on UK time, so I don't expect to be able to sign up for scheduled games, but I figure to spend some unstructured time checking out virtual tables and maybe playing a few demos.
FIYAHCon is a brand-new event getting a lot of attention in the sf community, but it appears intended a literary conference for the benefit of writers. I wish them the best of luck, but as just a random fan I don't plan to be there.
Virtual Dragon Con has decided that the really important part is... Dragon Con TV. It promises three channels, at least two of which will be fully pre-recorded, and at least one of which will be entirely content from previous years.
But there is at least live gaming! Maybe. Dragon Con's own site says it'll be organized via Tabletop.Events, but it doesn't appear in the convention list there, and stubs with its name on it are visible on Warhorn. Moreover, GMs who signed up to run official events are reporting that they still haven't heard back from the con.
Also visible on Warhorn is that it is up against a much larger and better-organized-looking event the same weekend in Displacement Con (that's just the PFS/SFS listings, see the description for links to the rest). So I at least know I'll have something to do that weekend, one way or another.
